How to set or change your time zone

Update your time preferences based on your current location

🕝 Blink is designed to connect teams on both the local and global levels. Therefore, it is possible for you to change your time zone so it's right for your personal location. This will impact the notifications that you receive from the Feed and Chats. Your time zone can be changed at any time and will take effect immediately.

This article will cover:

Setting this on your desktop

  1. Click on your profile picture in the upper left corner

  2. Select Edit preferences

  3. In the Do Not Disturb section, you can see the option to Set your time zone

  4. Choose your location from the drop-down menu

  5. Then click Save changes at the bottom of the screen.

Setting this on your Mobile app

1. Click on the Settings page through the gear icon in the upper right corner of the app home screen.

2. Scroll to 'Do not disturb'

3. Click on "Time Zone" to open the list of options

4. Search for and select the desired time zone.

📆 Can I set this for certain days?

We are still looking into releasing this feature.

❗ Does this affect Priority Posts?

No, you will still receive Priority Post notifications.

🕙 I can't find my time zone

If you are unable to find your time zone please reach out to us at support@joinblink.com to request we add your timezone.
