The Blink Admin Portal 👉 https://admin.joinblink.com/ is where organisational admins can manage every aspect of their Blink instance.
Here are the top five things you should do on day one to get to know it better!
1. Brand Blink in your own image.
As an Organisation Administrator, you can customise the look and feel of Blink to match your company's brand from Company Page of the Blink Admin panel.
Transform Blink and make it feel like a true internal tool by adding your company logo, icon, colours and even a cover photo.
Please note, this feature is only available to organisations on one of our paid for plans.
2. Choose your authentication mechanism
Scroll down to Account and Security and pick Authentication. Here you can change how your users log into Blink.
By default, we send everyone a one-time password direct to their email address every time they need to log in. If you prefer you can choose to let your users set a password, log in with O365 or GSuite credentials (should you already use these) or link directly to your existing AD with SAML.
3. Review and manage your users and teams
Under the User Management heading click Users to browse through the people in your organisation. Here you can edit user details, reset passwords and grant & revoke admin privileges.
Use the tabs at the top to see users that have been disabled and to view all pending invites.
Take a look at the Invite page to see how to 👉 bulk onboard your whole organisation at once or invite employees that don't have a digital presence or corporate email address.
4. Create some shortcuts
Shortcuts are a great way to share links to external services and URLs across an organisation. For example links to external payroll systems or HR documents that you haven't yet integrated with Blink.
5. Configure some integrations
Some of Blink's integrations require configuration before your employees can choose to add them to their feeds. Head into the Integrations page under the Applications and Feed menu to enable Salesforce, ServiceNow and JIRA for your workforce.
