Getting your colleagues to use Blink is super simple when you can send invitations in bulk.
In the Admin Portal, you will have access to the User Management menu & subsequent Manage People page.
From here you will be able to create, manage or disable the people in your organisation. But first, we need to get your colleagues on to Blink in quickest and seamless way.
You can invite your colleagues manually one-by-one although if you're looking to invite more than 10 people that can become very boring, very quickly. That's why we've allowed you to upload a CSV with your colleague's information, making the invite process smoother and smarter.
To bulk invite users to your organisation:
- Go to the Manage People page within the Admin Portal.
- Click on the Import Users option
- Download the predefined CSV template
- Fill out the required fields
- Click browse, and upload the CSV you've just filled out
- Press Import Users
What if the import fails?
It is possible that the import process could fail, but don't worry, if that's the case we will email you with the same CSV uploaded and we'll highlight the errored rows in a separate column.
You will need to rectify the errors before re-uploading the CSV and trying again. Alternatively, you can remove the errored rows from the CSV and proceed with uploading the remaining users.
In order to import users via a CSV import your CSV document must be set up in a certain way. Below you can find the rules and requirements for each field.
|First Name||Yes||The user's first name.|
|Last Name||Recommended||The user's last name/surname.|
|Email Address||Yes/Optional||The user's email address. This is optional if you provide a telephone number for the respective user.|
|Telephone Number||Yes/Optional||Ther user's telephone number. This is optional if you provide an email address for the respective user.|
The CSV must be comma separated (do not use tabs as the delimiter).
Some columns need extra attention. Review your fields as described below.
The email address should be unique to the user. If they do not have an email with your organisation's domain, this is fine, as you're inviting them through the Admin Portal we will automatically add them to your organisation.
